Inspiration Field Trip: Alameda Point Antiques Faire

Searching for a birdcage, wire baskets, Danish teak modern furniture or wrought iron anything for the garden? You can definitely find it at the Alameda Point Antiques Faire the first Sunday of the month in Alameda. This month we checked it out in search of  a lamp shade, some sort of storage furniture for our bathroom and a table for our backyard. I was also looking for some old photo booth picture strips which I was told this would be the place to find something like that. Of course the latter would be like searching for a needle in a haystack, so I scratched that one off my list upon arriving. After 3 hours and not even getting close to half way through we walked away with a yellow #6, a sunburn and head full of ideas.

Let me just say this place is OVERWHELMING! There is so much stuff, and prices vary from booth to booth with great bargains to the overpriced "rarity". Regardless of prices and the large variety of bird cages, there were so many unusual items and bits and pieces it truly is an inspiring place for any creative and great resource. I only wished I took more pictures but between my own personal search and socializing, I only took 3! For info on Alameda Point click here. k
