I currently work as an VAPA Art Educator in a California public school district where I facilitate art experiences for 100+ students daily, TK-8th grade.

I think of my work as an art educator not of teaching techniques but as a creator and curator of art based experiences. I believe in art as an expression, as a language, and as a process. I see creativity as a muscle we all have, that needs to be nourished and strengthen through patience and practice. I see art as an opportunity to foster connection within ourselves, each other and the greater communities that extend all around us. I believe that curiosity and exploration are catalyst for learning.
