I currently work as the studio teacher (atelierista) for a non-profit (nature focused, Reggio inspired) preschool. I am also a California Early Childhood Mentor Teacher (for grown-ups). 

In the studio, I think of my work as an art educator not of teaching techniques but as a creator and curator of art based experiences. I believe in art as an expression, as play, as a language, and as a process. I see creativity as a muscle we all have, that needs to be nourished and strengthen through patience and practice. I believe that curiosity and exploration are catalyst for learning.
